The Cabinet of Curiosities
In the old days, many pharmacies were known for their rather exotic appearance: a horn of a unicorn, coconuts or snakes attached to the ceiling as decoration and enticement were supposed to create a mystic atmosphere and ensure the clients’ reverence and loyalty. And without a doubt - it worked!
Our museum pays tribute to this old custom by exhibiting rare examples of curiosities - you will find items such as a stuffed crocodile, the head of an armadillo, parts of an Egyptian mummy and an elk dew claw.
